nRF52820是一款系統單晶片(SoC)，小小封裝提供USB和高階無線連接功能，可用於人機介面裝置、智慧家居、商業和工業應用。

nRF52820採用Arm Cortex-M4處理器，主頻為64 MHz。它有256 KB 快閃記憶體和32 KB RAM，以及一系列類比/數位介面，如類比比較器、UART、SPI、TWI、QDEC，最後還有重要的USB介面。

nRF52820可接受1.7-5.5 V的電源，比如可充電電池或者USB供電。2.4 GHz多協定無線通訊功能齊備，最多可提供8 dBm輸出功率。

nRF52820支援所有低功耗藍牙的功能，包括測向、2 Mbps高傳輸量、長距離和所有藍牙5.2功能。它還支援藍牙Mesh網狀網路、Thread和Zigbee Mesh網狀網路協定。

nRF52820的USB週邊設備實現全速USB 2.0，可提供廣泛使用的介面，與PC、平板電腦、智慧手機和閘道器等一系列主機進行低延遲、高頻寬通訊。nRF52820還增加了透過USB進行裝置韌體更新(DFU)的選項。當連接到USB主機時，nRF52820可以採用始終存在的5 V VBUS訊號直接供電，Downloads(下載)為該設定提供了參考布板。

nRF52833 DK是推薦的開發套件，它可以進行nRF52820元件模擬，並且可以作為轉移至客製電路板進行開發之前的上手工具。
