nRF52820是一款系统级芯片(SoC)，小小封装提供USB和高级无线连接功能，可用于人机接口设备、智能家居、商业和工业应用。

nRF52820采用Arm Cortex-M4处理器，主频为64 MHz。它有256 KB 闪存和32 KB RAM，以及一系列模拟和数字接口，如模拟比较器、UART、SPI、TWI、QDEC，最后还有重要的USB接口。nRF52820可接受1.7-5.5 V的电源，比如可充电电池或者USB供电。2.4 GHz多协议无线通信功能齐备，最多可提供8 dBm输出功率。

nRF52820支持所有低功耗蓝牙的功能，包括测向、2 Mbps高吞吐量、长距离和所有蓝牙5.2功能。它还支持蓝牙Mesh、Thread和Zigbee Mesh协议。

nRF52820的USB外设实现全速USB 2.0，可提供广泛使用的接口，与PC、平板电脑、智能手机和网关等一系列主机进行低延迟、高带宽通信。nRF52820还增加了通过USB进行设备固件更新(DFU)的选项。当连接到USB主机时，nRF52820可以采用始终存在的5 V VBUS信号直接供电，Downloads(下载)为该配置提供了参考布板。

nRF52833 DK是推荐的开发套件，它可以进行nRF52820器件仿真，并且可以作为转移至定制电路板进行开发之前的练手工具。
