COVID-19 update from Nordic Semiconductor

The coronavirus outbreak has a global effect on the society and economy and also impacted the people, organization and operations of Nordic Semiconductor.

While safety and security have taken top priority, Nordic has also worked to safeguard business continuity, ensuring that the company has remained fully operational for its customers, suppliers and partners. We continue to be resilient and remain focused on maintaining business continuity while keeping all stakeholders safe.

Nordic is proceeding as normal with all its product development projects and has strengthened its online developer support, Nordic DevZone, and customer programs to compensate for the restrictions on travels and physical meetings.

The COVID-19 situation has triggered renewed interest in connected devices to prevent, monitor and track diseases. Nordic is engaged in several designs for such applications, some of them announced below.

As an additional measure, Nordic has joined different programs to prevent the spread of the virus. One of these is the United Nations Developer Program's COVID-19 Detect & Protect Challenge to help prevent the spread of the virus in developing countries.

With millions around the world battling loneliness and isolation, Nordic also teamed up with Cadent and RS Components to call for innovative solutions helping people in isolation through a common initiative; Connect the Community: Design Challenge

Nordic employees working from their home offices around the world. Everyone have adapted well into this new and different situation as well as keeping up the team spirit and business continuity!
