nPM1100 EK Evaluation Kit

Evaluation kit for the nPM1100, a pin configurable and compact form-factor PMIC

The nPM1100 Evaluation Kit (EK) is designed to enable easy evaluation of the nPM1100 PMIC and its features for your applications. The kit includes switches for all selectable configuration options, buttons to enter and exit ship mode, and connectors for batteries, USB power, and pin headers providing access to all PMIC pins.

The EK allows developers to test the nPM1100’s capabilities without designing custom hardware. It supports battery charging and powering external applications through the on‑board headers and battery connectors, making it easy to integrate with existing designs.

Configuration is handled entirely through DIP switches, allowing selection of charger termination voltage, regulated output voltage, charge current, VBUS current limit, and buck regulator operating mode, including forced PWM for cleaner power operation. Status LEDs provide visual indication of charging and error conditions.

No programmable logic is included on the board, meaning evaluation and testing can be performed without writing any software.
