Evaluation kit for the advanced PMIC nPM1304 with battery charging and unique system management features.
The nPM1304 Evaluation Kit enables easy evaluation and programming-free configuration of the nPM1304 power management integrated circuit (PMIC). By connecting to the nPM PowerUP application in nRF Connect for Desktop, all nPM1304 settings can be easily configured via an intuitive graphical interface and exported as code for implementation in your MCU applications.
- Achieve seamless integration and code-free configuration through the nPM PowerUP desktop application.
- The male header provides all the necessary interfaces for the nPM1304 power management IC (PMIC), facilitating connection to Nordic development kits (DKs) and external test equipment.
- Integrated LED indicators and buttons allow for evaluation of the PMIC's built-in LED driver and general purpose input/output (GPIO) functions.
- Contains a 20mAh battery
The kit itself comes with a JST battery connector for use with/without an internal NTC battery, and a male header for accessing all nPM1304 interfaces. Additionally, it integrates three LEDs and four buttons for easy evaluation of the PMIC's GPIO and LED driver functions.
Users can directly use the pre-configured battery model in nPM PowerUP to initially evaluate the fuel gauge capabilities of the nPM1304. This fuel gauge solution relies on the battery model to achieve optimal state-of-charge accuracy. Battery modeling is a one-time operation, and the required programmable load circuitry is built into the nPM1304 evaluation kit.
