This university package covers the highly popular topic of Internet of Things (IoT) and Appcessories using the nRF51822 Bluetooth® Low Energy (formerly known as Bluetooth Smart) SoC. ARM® and Nordic Semiconductor have created a hands-on educational program built around the award-winning nRF51822 SoC . The nRF51822 is a highly flexible multiprotocol SoC that is ideally suited for Bluetooth LE and that has the ARM Cortex™ M0 CPU at its heart.This program for university and college educators is part of The ARM University Program, which enables educational use of ARM technology.

The Internet of Things and Appcessory Design Lab-in-a-Box

The program includes all the necessary elements to create a single semester course in embedded systems for IoT and Appcessories using Bluetooth LE. The Lab-in-a-Box includes three hands-on labs that are used to develop smartphone apps for controlling a robot using the nRF51822 Bluetooth LE SoC.
