Startup Weekend

Nordic Semiconductor – proud sponsor of Startup Weekend Trondheim, June 15-17, 2012.

The future of electronics is wireless and portable due to an almost insatiable consumer demand for ever greater levels of freedom and flexibility. Nordic Semiconductor is playing a key role in realizing that future by providing ultra-low power (ULP) wireless chips that can run for long periods of time from power sources as small as watch batteries.

The µBlue nRF8002 is one such Bluetooth low energy wireless chip, which is unique and exciting for app developers on iOS, Windows 8 and Android. The nRF8002 allows you to create a Bluetooth low energy solution to your customer problem with almost no experience in electronics. The nRF8002 can be configured and setup for use within minutes.

All you need to do is focus on solving your customer problem using an app around the nRF8002.
